Summertime on the Island.

July. A visit from Grandma, summer vacation, a new bike.

June is here and gone and we have not had the best

weather yet. We are hopeful that July will bring it.

Cold or wet we are going camping, Gaia is starting to really love it. She now asks to go, so

we are very happy that it is a wonderful family

time.

First a visit from Grandma and Grandpa, then our first family camping trip, April has been busy.

We are starting to experience strangers talking to us and asking first if she is our daughter and then where is she from. We don't mind these questions as so far they have all been made in a friendly manner with people just expressing their interest. However, Gaia is still young and the attention does not seem to bother her, but we do hope eventually people will just stop asking the questions and simply accept us as another normal family on an outing.

Spring, hello sunshine!

The newest member of our Family.

Though we still miss our beloved Brandy dearly, we have found Ally. The way in which we found her can only lead us to believe we were meant to bring her into our family. Rest in peace our big girl Brandy, you would have loved Ally.

Well look at us January in Comox, so much different the Jan in Moose Jaw. After spending so many winters in Sask we embrace the rain. Gaia still hates going for walks or rides in her bugy. Poor little thing we are so terrible to force such a little thing to actually walk or go outside. Can you imagine such cruelty? (seen here are pictures of her with her happy face on). We hope as she grows older she will start to enjoy being outside,
